News for April I have moved address yet again (second time in a year) so from now on I can be contacted at 978 Matheson Road, R.D.4., Waipawa 4274 although my phone number is still the same Ph.06-856 5577. Please note my mobile phone doesn't work well up here (too close to the mountains!) so it's best to use the landline although I do pick up texts when I go into town. I am always seeking stories for our newsletter Loosely Speaking so if you have an interesting anecdote, piece of information or even a poem to share please email me.
On the website I have included a link for people wishing to make online donations to the EDFNZ. If you wish to make a donation but don't have a credit card then cheques and money orders are gratefully accepted. The generosity of the general public allows us to continue our efforts at educating and informing the public and medical profession. Newsletter If you would like to go on the mailing list for "Loosely Speaking" I have now added a printable subscription form to the website for people wishing to join the EDFNZ. We welcome those with EDS/HMS, their family, friends and medical caregivers to join. If you just have an interest in EDS you can also join as a Friend of the Foundation. Donations are also most welcome and are used to benefit our members by paying for the printing of our newsletter, the distribution of medical information as well as helping maintain this web site.
Recent Media Coverage of the Ehlers-Danlos Foundation of New Zealand
A small piece on EDS and the EDFNZ was published in Hawkes Bay Today in May 2006. There were also mentions of it in the Central Hawkes Bay Mail and again in HB Today in August 2007. |
